The 5D (actually SD) error code signals the presence of suds in the tub. Not unlikely, the pressure switch has broken down or there is a draining issue. Unplug the washer and tilt it backwards. Check the drain pump, which is located near the washer’s back and under the tub. Not unlikely, it has gotten blocked. Remove and check it. If the pump is ok, put it back, drain all water from the washer and try the cycle again. If the pump is all right, but the error is still there, the main control board is not reading water level data properly and needs to be replaced. It is located under the control panel in the back right corner.
