If you see F21 or F02 on your washer’s display, it is not draining fast enough. There are several possible causes, such as:
- Kinked or clogged drain hose
- Using poor quality detergents
Check the drain hose
Check the drain hose and make sure it is installed in strict accordance with instructions. Straighten it to check water flow. If you notice any clogs, take steps to remove them. Also, check the utility sink and drainpipe. It is recommended to use an U-shaped drain hose holder.
Use good quality detergents
To prevent problems, it is recommended to use high efficiency (HE) detergents and follow the manufacturer’s advice. Do not use too much detergent: excess suds can affect water flow and cause the error.
Use 2x-labaled detergents, whose manufacturers specify required amount per load size. Rear instruction manuals and follow recommendations.
How to clear the error
First, try to clear it by pressing Pause or Cancel. If it does not work, do the following:
- Unplug/disconnect the device and wait for a minute or two
- Plug it back in and restart the cycle
If none of these steps has proved effective, use professional help.
