If there is the 2e code on the display, please, do the following:
- Reset your washer:
It may occur because of a glitch or power surge. Unplug it for 2-3 minutes to discharge the capacitors, then plug it back in and restart it. If that is the case, the error will be gone.
- Check wiring harnesses and connections:
There may be a problem in the printed control board (main control board): a loose connection, short-circuit, etc. In this case, you need to check the entire board and double-check all leads and connections. Removing each wire and plugging it back in at a time can be a solution. Use a multimeter to test all wires. If you find any loose or shorted ones, take steps to fix them. In some cases, professional help is needed. When you have finished the check, test the machine. Launch a quick cycle.
If none of these steps has worked and the error is still there, most likely, the main control board is faulty and needs to be replaced. You can order one and do the procedure on your own. It will take a bit of time and patience.
