This fault code means that there has been no pressure switch input, as no water has entered the system after 13 minutes following the launch of the cycle.
With these codes on the screen, you will not be able to unlock the door, and the buttons on the panel will not be responding. You will need to interrupt the cycle by pressing Power. Wait for about 10 minutes until the drain pump removes all water from the washer. When the water has drained, the buttons will become responsive, so you can take steps to fix the problem.
Make sure the water supply system is ok. Turn on the cold and hot faucets anywhere in you home (kitchen, bathroom, etc.) Be sure that the inlet valves are open properly.
Clear the F8 E1 Error Code
Press the Power button to switch off the washer, then press it again to restart it.
If there is no effect, do the following:
- Switch off or disconnect the washer from the mains.
- Reconnect/switch it on.
- Restart the cycle.
IMPORTANT:
- Some washers begin to drain after clearing the error code. It takes about 8 to 10 minutes for a washer to drain, and the buttons will not be responsive until the draining is completed. This is no reason for worry.
- This error code will appear if you try to run it without connecting it to water supply. It is more likely to happen during installation. If you disconnect it without clearing the error code, next time you connect it and try to run the cycle, it will start to drain. Wait for 8 to 10 minutes until the draining is over. Then disconnect power.
- If there are no visible faults, you have carried out all these steps, but the error is still there, call your local maintenance service.
